Weare seeking a dependable and compassionate Physical TherapistAssistant to join a Skilled Nursing Facility inLos Gatos, California.Thisrole involves working with a geriatric and post-acutepopulation,assisting patients in their recovery from surgery,illness, orinjury. Under the supervision of a licensedPhysical Therapist, youwill help deliver hands-on care aimedat improving mobility,strength, and overall functionalindependence. JobResponsibilities:
•Assist the Physical Therapist inimplementing individualized treatment plans in a Skilled NursingFacility setting
•Provide therapeutic exercises, gaittraining,and functional mobility activities
•Monitorpatient progressand communicate any changes or concerns to thesupervising PhysicalTherapist
•Educate patients andcaregivers on exercises,safety, and proper mobilitytechniques
•Maintain accurate andtimely documentation oftreatments and patient progress
•Ensurecompliance withfacility policies and regulatory requirements
Requirements
•Active state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant inCalifornia
•Current BLS/CPR certification
•Minimum of 6months of recent PTA experience within the last 5 yearspreferred
•Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility orgeriatric setting is a plus
•Strong communication andteamwork skills
