Job description
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)Reports To: Physical Therapist / Director of RehabilitationProvides therapy services under supervision of PT. Delivers treatment programs, monitors progress, and assists patients in achieving independence.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Carry out PT treatment plans for individuals and groups.Provide therapeutic exercises and activities as directed.Educate patients on mobility and assistive devices.Document treatment and patient response.Report changes to supervising PT.Qualifications:Associate's Degree from accredited PTA program.Current state PTA license.Clinical experience preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- KSAs:Knowledge of therapy techniques and equipment.Ability to follow treatment directions.Strong interpersonal skills.Physical & Environmental Requirements:Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients safely.Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching.Work in long-term care and healthcare environments.EEO & ADA Statement: Progressive Rehab Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
