nCompensation: $32.00 - $38.00 / Hour

nNovaCare Rehabilitation in Washington, DC is seeking a full-time D.C.-licensed physical therapist assistant (LPTA). Join our Capitol Hill outpatient orthopedic center and be part of a respected clinical team delivering exceptional care.We treat patients of all ages and abilities , and our highly respected clinical team is known for delivering care that maximizes function and helps people return to what they love, whether that’s sports, work, or everyday life.

n nResponsibilities
nnnResponsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
n
nnImplement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
n
nnMaintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
n
n nQualifications
nnnCollege graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
n
nnPassed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
n
nnValid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
n
nnCPR certification
n
