Job description
Physical Therapist Assistant – Visit PRN
Provides physical therapy patient treatment within the established plan of care and treatment protocols and under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Qualifications
Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups.
Required Education: Associate's Degree; Graduate from an accredited school for Physical Therapist Assistant approved by the Council of Medical Education in collaboration with the American Physical Therapy Association.
Necessary Skills: Demonstrates knowledge and skill in a broad range of Physical Therapy treatment interventions.
Demonstrates strong communication skills; proactive, positive approach to problem solving.
Demonstrates strong ability to use computer, Microsoft Office suite.
Able to work independently.
Required Licensure/Certifications: Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Florida.
BLS from the American Heart Association.
Required Experience: less than one year clinical experience in area of job opening (Acute, outpatient, etc.)
Preferred Experience: Experience in hospital-based rehabilitation services.
