nGreen Oaks Physical Therapy (GOPT) has provided exceptional outpatient orthopedic care in the DFW metroplex for twenty-five years! Founded by Physical Therapists in 2000, GOPT now has 17 locations that allow us to serve the people in our communities with compassionate and competent care. We have a future need for a Full time Physical Therapist **. ** We offer an exceptional working environment that is very teamwork-oriented along with growth opportunities, mentorship, and a generous compensation package.
nYou would work side by side with three DPTs and two PTA's in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic setting. This is a manual-therapy-focused clinic with a strong emphasis on patient experience and making the most of every treatment session.
nYou'll also have the opportunity for one-on-one mentorship with the clinic director , with a focus on developing your manual therapy skills, refining your clinical reasoning, and strengthening.
nnnCompetitive salary: $78,000-$95,000 , based on experience

nnProductivity bonus of up to $15,600 annually

nnEvidence In Motion (EIM) Manual Therapy Orthopedic Certification Program (a $9,000 value)

n nJob Description
nWhat You'll Do:
nnnAssess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results
n
nnReview the physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required
n
nnProvide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines
n
nnDocument findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
n
nnResponsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
n
nnComplete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals
n
nnImplement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments
n
nnCommunicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies
n
nnEnsure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports
n
n nQualifications
nnnEducation: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
n
nnLicensure: Active Physical Therapy license in Texas
n
nnExperience:
n
nnPreferred: 1+ years in outpatient orthopedics or sports medicine.
n
nnNew graduates with strong interest in outpatient orthopedics and sports rehab are encouraged to apply.

nnStrong interpersonal and communication skills.
n
nnAbility to work independently and as part of a team.
