nJob Summary
nWe are looking for an enthusiastic educated and licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve their mobility and move forward. You will work closely and under the direction of the doctor of physical therapy, treating patients with medical problems or other conditions that limit their ability to move or perform functional activities.
nOur therapist needs to be a self-motivated, very organized individual with an advanced degree in physical therapy from an APTA-accredited physical therapy program. Individuals must have a current TN state license or in the process of achieving one and in good standing with the State Board of Physical Therapy.
nResponsibilities
nEvaluating each patient that is specific to age, illness, injury, and/or disease.
nTimely preparing a written plan of care based on evaluation findings.
nSupervising the implementation of each plan of care, and coordinating treatment with support staff.
nTracking established clinic metrics for both therapist and administrative staff.
nBeing a proactive member of our team bringing proposed solutions to any problems that may arise.
nHelping foster a professional environment that is friendly and welcoming to everyone.
nDisplaying a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure each patient’s satisfaction.
nQualifications
nProven working experience as a Physical Therapist
nExcellent knowledge of physiology best practices and standards
nHands-on experience with therapeutic exercises, functional training, and physical modalities
nAbility to communicate and instruct effectively
nHealthcare administration and documentation skills
nLicense to practice or relevant certification
nCPR Certification (Preferred)
nLicensed Physical Therapist
