nOur ideal candidate has:

nGraduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program

n2-years experience

nCertified by the National Board for Certification

nActive Physical Therapist state license

nCPR Certification

nValid Driver’s License

nExperience working with the elderly and homecare

nCapable of easily lifting fifty (50) pounds of dead weight alone

nUp-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and physical therapy programs

nPrimary Responsibilities:

nConducting patient evaluations & assessments to determine the appropriate treatment plan

nDeveloping and implementing individualized treatment programs based on patient needs and goals

nAdministering therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve strength, range of motion, and mobility

nProviding manual therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy to address pain and muscle tension

nEducating patients on proper body mechanics and exercises for home exercise programs

nMonitoring and documenting patient progress throughout the course of treatment

nCollaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients

nAdhering to all legal, ethical, and professional guidelines in the provision of physical therapy services

nJob Types: Part-time, PRN Pay: $75.00 - $85.00 per hour

nExpected hours: 2 – 15 per week

nThis franchise is independently owned and operated by a local franchisee. Your application will go directly to the franchisee, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this local office. All inquiries about employment at this location should be made directly to the franchisee, and not to the FirstLight Home Care Support Center.
