nJob Summary
nThis role is for a full-time for or part-time role in one ALF in Eustis. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care primarily within assisted living facilities. This role involves developing individualized treatment plans, implementing therapeutic interventions, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient recovery and mobility. The Physical Therapist will work with diverse patient populations, including geriatrics, those with physical limitations, and those recovering from orthopedic injuries.
nDuties
nnAssess patients' physical conditions and functional abilities through comprehensive evaluations.
nDevelop and implement personalized care plans based on individual patient needs and goals.
nUtilize various therapeutic techniques to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
nEducate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and self-care strategies.
nMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
nCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and discharge planning.
nMaintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
nStay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques.
n nExperience
nnA degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
nA current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida is required.
nPrevious experience with the senior population is preferred.
nKnowledge of anatomy and physiology is essential for effective patient assessment and treatment.
nFamiliarity with various therapeutic modalities relevant to orthopedics and geriatrics.
nStrong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
