Job description
Position Summary
Provides physical therapy services to patients in acute inpatient and outpatient settings. Evaluates patient needs, develops individualized treatment plans, and provides evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, function, pain management, and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans.
Provide therapeutic interventions for acute and outpatient patients with a variety of conditions.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical needs and goals.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing, case management, and other healthcare professionals on patient care and discharge planning.
Educate patients and families on exercises, home programs, treatment goals, and injury prevention.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
Supervise and support PTAs, aides, and students as appropriate.
Participate in quality improvement, education, and departmental activities while maintaining patient safety and infection control standards.
Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program; master's or doctorate degree preferred.
Current Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
Current BLS certification required.
One (1) to two (2) years of acute care and/or outpatient experience preferred.
New graduates with strong clinical experience may be considered.
Job Type : Full-time, Variable Shift
Pay : $90,000-$135,000/Annually
