nCritical Illness Recovery Hospital + Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit
nPosition: Physical Therapist (PT)
nLocation: Housed inside of Select Specialty Hospital - Tallahassee
nSchedule: Full-time
nCompensation: Up to $50.00/hr.
nSign-on Bonus: $20,000
nSelect Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital with an acute rehabilitation unit. We are committed to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery as well as individuals with brain injuries,spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas.

n nResponsibilities
nnnPerforming initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
n
nnPromoting continuous quality improvement.
n
nnTeaching and counseling patients/families.
n
nnSetting goals and developing treatment plans.
n
nnWorking cooperatively to identify and solve patient-specific and facility-wide needs.
n
nnParticipating in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education and adaptive equipment.
n
nnSupervising Physical Therapy Assistants, as well as supervising PT and PTA students.
n
nnConducting individual patient therapy regimens.
n
nnMonitoring patient's response to treatment and modifying treatment during sessions, as needed.
n
nnCompleting appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures.
n
nnParticipating in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services.
n
n nQualifications
nMinimum Qualifications
nnnCurrent state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
n
nnCertified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
n
