Physical Therapist
Greenwood, IN
Pay: $55.00/hour
Full-Time | Day Shift
Schedule Information
Monday-Friday
Occasional weekends required
Physical Therapist Requirements Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program required
Current Indiana Physical Therapist license required
Previous inpatient rehabilitation facility experience highly preferred
Adult IRF experience preferred
Experience treating patients with brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, amputations, cardiac conditions, and orthopedic diagnoses preferred
Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced rehabilitation environment with short lengths of stay
Commitment to collaborative discharge planning and patient-centered care
Key Responsibilities Provide physical therapy evaluations, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions for adult rehabilitation patients
Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence
Treat a variety of diagnoses including brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, amputations, cardiac conditions, and orthopedic conditions
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to support recovery and discharge planning
Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and patient outcomes accurately
Educate patients and families on therapy goals, mobility techniques, home exercise programs, and discharge recommendations
Maintain compliance with facility policies, therapy standards, and patient safety protocols
Support a positive, team-oriented rehabilitation environment focused on returning patients home safely
