Job Title: Physical Therapist Address: Griffin, GA Job Description Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans to restore or maintain patient well-being. Performs clinical assessments to identify patient needs and appropriateness of care. Documents and prepares a Plan of Care (POC), progress notes, and other clinical records. Plans and provides treatment for neuromuscular, neurological, and orthopedic disorders. Instructs patients and families in transfer techniques and the use of rehabilitation equipment. Provides education regarding therapeutic procedures based on patient age and condition. Applies concepts of infection control and universal precautions during patient care activities. Critical Information Shift: M-F until shift is complete, on-call required if requested. Patient Service Area: Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours. Education/Licenses Needed Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association approved program. Current State License as a Physical Therapist. Proof of current CPR certification. 1-2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting. Benefits: Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment. A 401(k) with company match is available after 1 year of service.
