Job description
Job Summary
Plans and conducts treatment programs to restore and enhance patients’ physical, social, and mental functions, serving as a co-leader within an interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities include
Completing evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, providing therapy interventions using appropriate protocols, ensuring effective communication of care and discharge plans, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, supervising assigned assistants, and performing additional duties as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or foreign equivalent
Valid state licensure in all applicable practice locations
CPR/BLS certification from an approved vendor
Valid driver’s license and minimum age of 21
Facility-specific certifications as required (e.g., AHA-BLS, ARC-BLS, WA-PT, OR-PT)
Additional Requirements
Commitment to safety, including required vaccinations, and adherence to organizational policies. Supervisory experience preferred. Strong clinical assessment skills, excellent communication, and teamwork capabilities are essential.
