nOur fully-accredited non-profit private school combines traditional academics with therapeutic intervention and pre-vocational skill development. Our Adult Services Program includes five licensed community residences/group homes and two adult learning centers. Matheny's Arts Access program empowers individuals with disabilities to create art without boundaries. nDuties of this position include:
nnnConducts accurate and thorough client/student examinations in the hospital or education environment using departmental format.
n
nnIdentifies Physical Therapy Diagnosis and Prognosis to direct appropriate plan of care for each client/student.
n
nnImplements effective Procedural (Direct) Interventions for each client/student based on the results of the assessment process.
n
nnProvides coordination, communication and documentation to support the client/students functional outcome(s) and program needs.
n
nnPerforms client/student related instruction to support the client/students functional outcome(s) and program needs.
n
nnProvides consultative services within the organization and/or to outside agencies regarding environmental and/or service provision issues.
n
nnParticipates in educational programs intended to enhance the knowledge, skills and competencies of others.
n
nnPerforms transdisciplinary roles to optimize client/students carryover of functional outcome(s) and program needs.
n
nnParticipates in department duties and responsibilities necessary to provide effective and efficient services.
n
nnParticipates in training and studies to enhance knowledge base in the specialty practice of Pediatrics and Developmental Disabilities.

When determining a team member’s base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).
nThe salary range for this position is $79,059.00 - $95,762.00 annually.

nPosition Requirements
nBachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university required.
nMinimum of 3 years clinical experience required.
nLicensure/Certifications:
nNew Jersey Physical Therapy License required.
