Physical Therapist - Outpatient Orthopedic
Location: Lorton, VA 22079 Employment Type: Full-Time Work Setting: Outpatient Orthopedic / Private Practice Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift
Position Overview
We are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to provide high-quality, individualized physical therapy services in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, providing therapeutic interventions, establishing home exercise programs, educating patients, and monitoring progress toward functional goals.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong clinical skills, professionalism, effective communication, and a patient-centered approach. New graduates are welcome to apply, and the practice is willing to provide mentorship and training.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and identify functional limitations.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapeutic interventions and monitor progress.
Educate patients on exercises, home programs, and injury prevention.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
Communicate with patients, physicians, and healthcare teams.
Follow PT standards, regulations, and best practices.
Manage caseload efficiently and make independent clinical decisions.
Maintain quality care, patient satisfaction, and a professional environment.
Participate in mentorship, training, and professional development.
Required Qualifications
Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
Active, unencumbered Virginia PT license. Legally authorized to practice as a PT in Virginia. Experience
Outpatient or private-practice physical therapy experience preferred. Benefits: All standard benefits covered
