About this role
Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Physical Therapist to assist at multiple Correctional facilities including Lynwood, downtown Los Angeles, and Castaic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing physical therapy services to persons who are incarcerated. Services would include, but are not limited to, patient evaluations, individualized treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, progress monitoring, documentation, and collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Pay Rate : $85/hr
Location : Correctional facilities including Lynwood, downtown Los Angeles, and Castaic.
Schedule: The candidates' hours would be eight-hour shifts Monday through Friday. Services would not be required on County holidays.
Job Duties:
Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and assessments.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Provide therapeutic exercises, interventions, and rehabilitation services.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
Educate patients regarding exercises, mobility, injury prevention, and continued care.
Follow all applicable clinical, safety, and facility policies and procedures.
Qualifications Current and unrestricted California Physical Therapist license .
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
Strong assessment, treatment planning, and clinical documentation skills.
Ability to work effectively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Ability to provide professional care within a correctional healthcare setting.
Must meet all facility credentialing, background, and security clearance requirements.
