nPer Diems shall be required to work 1 major and 2 minor holidays per year & 4 weekend days (Saturday or Sunday) per 3 month period of time. A weekend is defined as a Saturday or Sunday.
nMajor and Minor Holidays are defined as:
nnmajor holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day) and two (2) other holidays throughout the year if and as needed by the Medial Center.
n nResponsibilities
nResponsible for development, implementation and coordination of a physical therapy program to provide screening, evaluation and treatment of patient of all ages.

nThe compensation range for the role is $ -$ /hr (Per Diem).
nGarnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits. When determining a team member’s compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).
nQualifications
nMinimum Education:
nnCompletion of a four-to-six year (CAPTE) Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education / (APTA) American Physical Therapy Association Accredited program in physical therapy or its equivalent. After 2002 new graduates were required to have a Master’s degree, as of 12/31/2015 new graduates are required to have a Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
n nMinimum Experience:
nnNew graduate.
n nRequired Certification/Registration:
nnCurrent NYS licensed with NYS Education Department Office of the Professions or eligible for NYS licensure with a limited permit. Current and ongoing BLS certification .
n nPhysical Requirements:
nnWork requires extensive standing, walking, and moderate to heavy lifting.
n nWorking Conditions:
nnnEnvironmental Demands and Exposure to Hazards: Works in a clean, well- lighted, heated or ventilated facility. No routine exposure to hazards.
n
nnPhysical Demands: Demonstrates physical and functional ability to perform full anatomical range of motion to accomplish tasks. Evidence of visual and aural acuity and finger and hand dexterity to operate computer and office equipment. Can withstand long periods of sitting, standing and/or constant walking. Ability to lift 25 lbs.

nnMental Demands: Ability to foster collaborative relationships, to work well under pressure, to organize and synthesize new information, and prioritize tasks. Possesses critical thinking, analytical skills and flexibility. Ability to multi-task required
