Responsibilities
As a Physical Therapist in this full-time role, you will:
Perform screenings, evaluations, and individualized treatment sessions
Create and adjust plans of care that enhance function, endurance, mobility, and overall patient wellness
Supervise and guide PTAs and Rehab Technicians during treatment activities
Document treatment, progress, and care coordination accurately and efficiently
Partner closely with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on safe mobility strategies and ongoing rehabilitation goals
Maintain compliance with state regulations and established therapy standards
Contribute to ongoing program development and quality improvement initiatives
Engage in continuing education to strengthen clinical and professional skillsets
Qualifications
Education
Graduate of an APTA-accredited physical therapy program
Licensure
Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New Mexico
Skills
Basic computer and online navigation skills
Proficiency with clinical documentation systems
Strong communication and patient interaction abilities
