nRestores patient physical functioning by interpreting physical therapy evaluations and test results. Determines physical therapy treatment goals and plans. Administers manual exercises. Instructs, encourages, and assists patients in performing physical activities.
nRequired Skills
nnAbility to perform patient care utilizing correct body mechanics.
nWith consideration to age, employee utilizes the approved process to resolve biophysical, psychological, educational and environmental needs of patient/significant others when administering care.
nCompetent to evaluate and treat a variety of diagnoses for patients who may be infants, children, adults or older adults.
nCPR certification.
n nRequired Experience
nnLicensed as a physical therapist in California, or eligible to take the examination for licensure in the State of California with PT license applicant document on file.
nMust maintain current California physical therapy license.
nNo experience required.
nBasic Windows and mouse skills preferred
