nSaint Luke's South Rehab Institute is seeking a part-time, weekend Physical Therapist to join our team!
nPart-time (24 hour) physical therapy position located at Saint Luke's Rehabilitation Institute. Hours for position will be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 7:30 to 4:00 and will have Holiday requirements. In addition to the roles listed below, this position will participate in a lead role on Saturday and Sunday which includes but is not limited to: staffing, checking daily minutes, scheduling, communication with other departments, and staff questions.
nThe physical therapist evaluates and test clients with mechanical, anatomical, physiological impairments, developmental impairments, functional limitations, disabilities or other health and movement-related conditions in order to determine a prognosis and plan of therapeutic intervention. The physical therapist regularly assesses the ongoing effects of the physical therapy intervention. The physical therapist’s goal is to improve quality of life through hands-on care, patient education, and prescribed movement.
nnnEvaluates patients after impairment, injury, or disease.

nnCreates an individualized patient-centered treatment plan based on evidence-based practice and selects appropriate interventions based upon evaluation and assessment of patient.

nnRe-evaluates and provides periodic reassessment of patient progress and contributes to discharge planning.
n
nnSupervises treatment provided by students and physical therapy assistants.
n
nnParticipates and makes recommendations for client care interventions to the interdisciplinary health care team.
n
nnDelegates and instructs supportive personnel in services to be provided.
n
nnPerforms all other duties as requested by the manager.
n
nnProvides timely documentation per department and/or entity policy and as required by insurance provider to meet licensing, certification, regulatory, reimbursement requirements, and physician treatment plan.

nnUses professional judgment to ensure safety to self, patients, and others at all times.
n
nnParticipates in quality initiatives.
