Pediatric Physical Therapist, Outpatient
nPosition Summary
nConducts physical therapy evaluations and treatments according to established standards of physical therapy, physician’s referral and physical therapy plan of care.
nPrimary Position Responsibilities
nnnEvaluates infants, toddlers and children; develops appropriate treatment plans.
n
nnProvides developmentally appropriate, therapeutic interventions.
n
nnCompletes thorough and accurate evaluation reports and ongoing daily session notes and progress reports.
n
nnMaintains acceptable levels of clinical productivity; submits billing accordingly.
n
nnCounsels and educates patient, family and/or caregiver regarding treatment goals and progress.
n
nnCommunicates with other essential medical and community/school personnel.
n
nnMaintains personal knowledge and skill levels and contributes to enhancing that of colleagues.

n nQualifications
nMinimum Education:
nRequired:
nBachelor’s Degree in Physical therapy
nPreferred:
n? Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy or related field
n? Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy
nMinimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):
nRequired: 1-3 years experience providing therapy within a pediatric setting working with infants, toddlers and children: will consider new graduate

nLicense, Registry or Certification:
nRequired: Current New Jersey State License
nPreferred: None
nKnowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
nRequired: Pediatric experience
nPreferred: None
