nPer Diem Physical Therapist - Outpatient Albany Memorial practice NO WEEKENDS

nIf you are looking for a Per Diem position in outpatient Physical Therapy, this position located at our Albany Memorial campus could be your opportunity. Per diem needs are during M-F within business hours-as needed-partial days as well as full-days are welcome. Here at St. Peter's Health Partner's, we care for more people in more places.

nWhat you will do:

nAs a Physical Therapist, you are responsible for direct patient care. Integrate elements of patient/client management, examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis and interventions in a manner designed to maximize patient's functional outcomes. Document treatments and patient progress according to professional, department policies and procedures. Functions as a part of the multidisciplinary team working with patients with a primary diagnosis of CVA, SCI, LE Amputation, Orthopedics, and Cardiopulmonary conditions.

nResponsibilities :

nnnFormulates comprehensive treatment program by evaluating patient's past medical history, disease/condition, impairments, disability and functional/developmental status

nnPrioritize patient care needs

n

nnAccurately assess patient's rehab needs through the continuum of care and provides appropriate disposition, equipment, education and treatment recommendations in a timely manner

n

nnCompletes all documentation in accordance with professional, organizational, regulatory and facility's corporate compliance standards

n

nnAll clinical and payer required documentation is concise, pertinent, legible and in accordance with organizational requirements

n nWhat you will need:

nnnGraduate of an approved Physical Therapy program with a Bachelor of Science, Master's degree or Clinical Doctorate of physical therapy degree

n

nnCurrent NYS Physical Therapy license and registration

n

nn1 year of Physical Therapy preferred

n

nnMust be able to communicate effectively, verbally and written

n

n nPay Range: $43.73-$56.58 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
