nSchedule: Per Diem
nCompensation: $55 per hour
nRUSH Specialty Hospital, a partnership between Select Medical and RUSH, is a 100-bed facility that provides both critical illness recovery as well as acute inpatient rehabilitation services.
nOur acute rehabilitation unit is committed to providing exceptional and compassionate care tobest address the medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges for individuals with brain injuries,spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas.

n nResponsibilities
nnnPerforming initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
n
nnPromoting continuous quality improvement.
n
nnTeaching and counseling patients/families.
n
nnSetting goals and developing treatment plans.
n
nnWorking cooperatively to identify and solve patient-specific and facility-wide needs.
n
nnParticipating in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education and adaptive equipment.
n
nnSupervising Physical Therapy Assistants, as well as supervising PT and PTA students.
n
nnConducting individual patient therapy regimens.
n
nnMonitoring patient's response to treatment and modifying treatment during sessions, as needed.
n
nnCompleting appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures.
n
nnParticipating in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services.
n
n nQualifications
nMinimum Qualifications
nnnState Licensure: Hold a current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
n
nnCertified BLS: Possess Certified BLS or obtain it within 90 days of employment.
n
