Acute Care Physical Therapist Hospital-Based Jackson MS PSLF + $15K Sign-On
We're partnering with a hospital in the Jackson, MS area to hire a full-time Acute Care Physical Therapist (PT). This is a permanent, W-2 hospital-based role in a stroke-center-designated regional referral hospital, ideal for PTs looking to build versatile acute care skills in a mentorship-driven environment. New graduate physical therapists are welcomed with a structured 90-day preceptor program.

Exceptional Mentorship (New Graduate PTs Welcome): Formal 90-day mentorship program with experienced preceptors
Structured onboarding: full days with preceptor half days independent practice with chart review support
Built to develop full acute care competency within 90 days
Leadership team with decades of combined acute care experience
Compensation & Financial Package: $15,000 sign-on bonus
Acute care shift differential
Relocation assistance available
Competitive hourly pay based on experience
403(b) retirement plan with 50% employer match up to 6% (effective 3% total contribution)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with 30-minute lunch
Weekend rotation: 1 in 4 when fully staffed
Comprehensive Benefits: 21 days PTO (accruing day 1) plus 12 sick days annually

$250/year CEU budget plus 1 paid education day for completing 6 CEUs
PSLF eligible (Public Service Loan Forgiveness) through nonprofit hospital system

Ideal Candidate: DPT or MPT from an accredited program
Active or pending Mississippi PT license
New graduate physical therapists welcome (formal mentorship provided)
Experienced acute care PTs strongly encouraged to apply
