Physical Therapist (PT) and or Assistant (PTA), Outpatient Clinic
Burger Rehabilitation Systems, Inc. has provided therapy services since 1978. We are currently seeking an exceptional state board licensed physical therapist or physical therapist assistant to join our team!
This is a full-time and fully benefitted position. The Natomas location is ideal for commutes from north or south of Sacramento. This great team is ready to welcome you!
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
The physical therapist assesses, plans, organizes, and participates in rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury.
The physical therapist assistant supports physical therapists in providing physical therapy treatments and procedures. Responsibilities include assisting in the development of treatment plans, carrying out routine functions, documenting the progress of treatment, and modifying specific treatments in accordance with the patient status and within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist.
Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university or the foreign equivalent
California state licensed physical therapist
Education and/or experience: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university. Must be a state licensed therapist. Substantial outpatient clinical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Supervisory experience preferred. Ability to set goals, priorities, and meet deadlines in a self-directed environment.
