n nAs a Physical Therapist, you’ll contribute to our success in the following ways:
nnnPromotes Elara Caring’s philosophy, mission statement and administrative policies to ensure quality of care
n
nnProvides direct patient care, evaluates functional needs and outcomes, and consults with other specialists. Reviews patients’ functional needs and adjusts care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
n
nnDesigns and implements a plan of care for patients based on a thorough assessment of potential development and incorporates participation by significant others whenever it seems appropriate.
n
nnConducts therapy practice within defined standards of care.
n
nnDirects the assistance of support staff to achieve patients’ functional goals.
n
nnDocuments evaluations, treatment goals, and plans. Regularly updates documentation and maintains prescriptions and signatures.
n
nnProvides direction and leadership to staff and acts as a resource to promote physical therapy in the community
n
nnPhysically demanding, high stress environment
n
nnFull range of body motion including handling, lifting and transfer of patients
n
nnPotentially work irregular hours including call hours if applicable
n
n nWhat is Required?
nnnGraduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved physical therapy program
n
nnCurrent, unrestricted PT license valid for the state of work
n
nnMinimum one (1) year of experience in a healthcare facility
n
nnAble and willing to travel within branch/office coverage area.
n
nnMust have a dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance in accordance with state laws.
n
nnMust be able and willing to travel 50%
n
nnAble to sit, stand, bend, lift and move intermittently and be able to lift 50-100 lbs.
n
n nYou will report to the Branch Director, Clinical Manager, Clinical Supervisor or designee. #ECD
