Job description

Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)Job Type: Fulltime, Exempt

Schedule: Days, Clinic Hours Scheduling between 7:30 am - 5:30pm M-TH, 7:30am - 11:30am Friday's

Candidates must possess Lymphedema Specialist experience; Lymphedema certification is required within six (6) months of hire .

Maria Parham Health, a Duke LifePoint Hospital, is the region's healthcare provider, offering comprehensive services supported by skilled physicians, nurses, and clinical specialists. Fully accredited by The Joint Commission and the College of American Pathologists, we deliver exceptional care through our advanced Emergency Department, Maternity Center, Intensive and Progressive Care units, Medical/Surgical services, and inpatient rehabilitation. Maria Parham also offers state of the art physical, occupational, and speech therapy on an outpatient basis, ensuring patients receive high quality, accessible care close to home.

Our system extends to the Maria Parham Franklin facility in Louisburg, which features a fully equipped Emergency Department, specialized Behavioral Health units, and additional outpatient diagnostic services. Across our 205 licensed beds, we provide advanced cardiac, cancer, respiratory, and rehabilitation care supported by cutting edge technology and key partnerships. How you'll contribute

The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients with physical injuries, functional limitations, or disabilities to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore independence. This role conducts comprehensive assessments, develops individualized treatment plans, and provides direct therapy to support patients' daily progress toward recovery. The PT educates patients, families, and nursing staff on home exercise and follow through programs that reinforce therapeutic gains. Additional responsibilities include documenting care in accordance with regulatory and accrediting standards, communicating progress or concerns to the interdisciplinary team, assisting with scheduling and daily charge entry, and maintaining a safe, clean treatment environment. The Physical Therapist adheres to the organization's Code of Conduct, compliance requirements, and professional standards while collaborating in discharge planning and participating in performance improvement activities.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have

Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program

Inpatient Rehabilitation, Acute Care, and/or Outpatient setting experience preferred

Current state Physical Therapist (PT) license

Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR certification is required
