n nAs a Physical Therapist, you'll contribute to our success in the following ways:
nnnPromotes Elara Caring's philosophy, mission statement and administrative policies to ensure quality of care
n
nnProvides direct patient care, evaluates functional needs and outcomes, and consults with other specialists. Reviews patients' functional needs and adjusts care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
n
nnDesigns and implements a plan of care for patients based on a thorough assessment of potential development and incorporates participation by significant others whenever it seems appropriate.
n
nnConducts therapy practice within defined standards of care.
n
nnDirects the assistance of support staff to achieve patients' functional goals.
n
nnDocuments evaluations, treatment goals, and plans. Regularly updates documentation and maintains prescriptions and signatures.
n
nnProvides direction and leadership to staff and acts as a resource to promote physical therapy in the community
n
nnPhysically demanding, high stress environment
n
nnFull range of body motion including handling, lifting and transfer of patients
n
nnPotentially work irregular hours including call hours if applicable
n
n nWhat is Required?
nnnGraduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved physical therapy program
n
nnCurrent, unrestricted PT license valid for the state of work
n
nnMinimum one (1) year of experience in a healthcare facility
n
nnAble and willing to travel within branch/office coverage area.
n
nnMust have a dependable vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance in accordance with state laws.
n
nnMust be able and willing to travel 50%
n
nnAbility to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment
n
n nThe low end of the compensation range is $98,000 to the high end up to $120,000 annually, which can include additional earnings for work beyond quota, bonuses, on-call, or other performance-based compensation variables.
nElara Caring determines compensation based on education, job related knowledge, skills, training, and experience. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets and may vary depending on location.
nYou will report to the Branch Director, Clinical Manager, Clinical Supervisor or designee.
