Physical Therapist (PT): Schools - Leonardtown, MD

Job Details:
Location: Leonardtown, MD
Setting: School
Pay Range: $42.00 - $50.51 hourly
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week (Full Time or Part Time options)
Contract Length: School Year
Candidate Type: Local or Travel
Preferred: Experience working with school-aged children (Pre-K through 12), strong collaboration skills to work with school staff, therapists, and families
Requirements: Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license; Be willing to obtain state licensure; 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist preferred but not required (new grads welcome)
Responsibilities:
Provide essential support and specialized care to students in an educational environment.
Collaborate with school staff, therapists, and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans specific to each student's needs.
Conduct assessments and deliver treatment for students with gross motor, mobility, and related concerns, ensuring safe and effective interventions.
Support student progress and promote inclusive education through dedicated therapy services.
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to school and healthcare standards.
