n0.8 - 1.0 FTE - Day Shift 7 AM to 5:30 PM Weekdays
nStarting Pay - $39.41 to $59.11 (based on experience)

nQualifications:
nCurrent state Physical Therapy licensure and graduate of an accredited college or university with a certificate in Physical Therapy
nBLS certification
nStrong written and verbal skills
nAbility to read and communicate effectively in English
nBasic computer knowledge
nMust be able to work with all age ranges
nJob Responsibilities:
nPerforms a physical therapy assessment and reassessment as indicated and develops a plan of care with patient goals and directed toward functional outcomes. This may include pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients.
nObserves and evaluates treatment effect and recommends change to the clinician, as appropriate.
nAbility to provide physical therapy services in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
nEvaluates the need for durable medical equipment.
nContributes to safe discharge planning for inpatients including recommendations for transitioning to the next level of care through use of physical therapy appropriate evaluations.
nCharges patients accurately and timely in compliance with departmental policy and in compliance with specifications outlined in the annual CPT publication (current procedural terminology).
nDemonstrates knowledge and competency with physical therapy modalities.
nMeets documentation standards outlined in the physical therapy competencies.
nDirects and supervises physical therapist assistants and provides a clear treatment plan while maintaining a collaborative patient care partnership.
nParticipates in education of physical therapy student shadows and interns.
nParticipates in internal and external education and/or marketing of rehabilitation services annually.
nMaintains regulatory requirements, including Minnesota licensure and continuing education requirements.
nPresents at department in-services following participation with continuing education, i.e. discipline specific presentation, department presentation, journal club leader, etc.
nAttends department meetings and in-services, as scheduled.
nAbility to travel between multiple locations.
nOther duties as assigned.
