Shifts: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday - Tuesday
Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. This role involves providing comprehensive Physical Therapy services to inpatients and outpatients within an Inpatient Rehab/Acute setting. Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to determine physical and cognitive abilities, considering age-specific needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, with measurable goals, involving patient and family participation.
Consistently adhere to documentation protocols, including Initial Evaluations, Daily and Weekly Progress notes, and Discharge Summaries.
Participate in care conferences, family consultations, in-service programs, and departmental meetings.
Provide counseling regarding patient care and initiate timely discharge planning with effective education and training.
Assist with supervision of the student and volunteer programs within the department.
Support orientation of new associates and patient scheduling to ensure quality coverage and supervision.
Engage in Performance Improvement activities and community networking for appropriate referrals.
Foster positive relationships with medical staff, physicians, and referral sources.
Requirements of the Physical Therapist Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate of Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Texas Executive Council of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
Successful completion of health screening examinations as required.
