Qualifications & Experience:
Current license as a Physical Therapist (PT)
Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric physical therapy setting preferred
Understanding of school-based therapy models and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Strong communication and documentation skills
Collaborative, flexible, and organized approach
Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct and consultative PT services to students in accordance with IEP goals
Conduct assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans tailored to each child's needs
Integrate therapy strategies into the classroom setting through close collaboration with teachers and support staff
Monitor and document student progress, updating goals as needed
Engage effectively with families to support carryover of skills at home
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the educational team's goals
