Job description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a skilled Physical Therapist serving students in a dynamic educational setting near Columbia City, IN. Key Qualifications:
Valid and active Physical Therapy license in Indiana (or eligibility)
Previous experience working in school-based settings preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
Commitment to individualized education planning and documentation
Primary Responsibilities: Deliver therapeutic physical therapy services to students in accordance with individual education plans (IEPs)
Conduct assessments and develop comprehensive treatment goals
Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required reports
Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings to support student outcomes
Provide consultation and support to educational staff regarding physical accessibility and student needs
Adapt therapy interventions to meet diverse student needs and school schedules
