Job description
Step into an essential role delivering supportive, specialized care as a School-Based Physical Therapist serving K-12 students in a vibrant educational community near Evanston, IL. What You Bring:
Current Illinois Physical Therapist (PT) license
Experience with K-12 student populations preferred, but not required
Adaptable, collaborative approach within multidisciplinary school teams
Strong communication and documentation skills, ensuring positive family and staff partnership
Commitment to providing direct and indirect therapy with compassion and evidence-based practices
Your Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans for students from kindergarten through high school
Conduct thorough assessments and regularly monitor progress, adjusting interventions as needed
Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to ensure comprehensive student support
Complete timely and accurate reports, adhering to state and district guidelines
Foster an inclusive, accessible learning environment that supports each child's unique needs
Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and ongoing professional development as part of the educational community
