Job description
Step into a rewarding school-based Physical Therapy opportunity near New Haven, CT! This full-time, contract role empowers you to serve district-wide, making a real difference for students from now through the end of the school year. As an integral part of the team, you will deliver expert PT services across various school sites-not far from scenic Bridgeport.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapist license in Connecticut
Previous experience supporting students in a K-12 setting preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively across multiple campuses
Commitment to fostering inclusivity and helping students reach individual goals
Primary Responsibilities: Provide physical therapy assessment, intervention, and consultation for students in need
Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
Keep thorough and timely documentation of interventions and progress
Travel to multiple schools within the district as needed
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for student support planning
