Desired Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapy (PT) licensure for the state of Illinois
Experience in school-based physical therapy services is strongly preferred
Strong understanding of pediatric and adolescent physical therapy needs
Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities
Ability to adapt and tailor interventions to diverse student populations
Enthusiastic, compassionate, and flexible approach to client care
Responsibilities: Deliver individualized and group physical therapy sessions to students based on IEPs and referrals
Conduct assessments to evaluate students' physical functions and develop targeted intervention plans
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each child's educational experience
Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans to ensure effective outcomes
Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports as required by the school and state regulations
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals as part of a multidisciplinary team
