Job description

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
Prior experience in school-based settings or working with pediatric populations
Solid understanding of IEP processes and school healthcare protocols
Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, parents, and staff
Ability to adapt therapeutic strategies for children and adolescents
Organizational abilities to efficiently manage documentation and session planning
Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct physical therapy services to students as outlined in their individualized plans
Assess, monitor, and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
Consult and collaborate with teachers and special education teams to support student inclusion
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as a valued contributor
Maintain clear records in compliance with school and legal requirements
Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment or modifications when appropriate
