Job description

To excel in this role, candidates should have:
A current or pending license as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Utah
Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
A passion for working with children and adolescents with diverse abilities
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and contribute positively to an interdisciplinary team
Organizational skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment
Your responsibilities will include: Evaluating students' motor skills and developing individualized treatment plans
Providing direct PT services to students with varying needs
Collaborating with teachers, families, and other school staff to promote student success
Maintaining thorough and accurate records of student progress and interventions
Participating in IEP meetings and supporting compliance with state and federal guidelines
Offering consultative services and in-class support as needed
