Physical Therapist Opportunity
VHS is looking for a qualified Physical Therapist. The position is located in Syracuse, NY, with a duration of 13 weeks and an 8-hour variable shift. The pay rate is $27.00 per hour plus $1200 per week in non-taxed travel per diem (candidate must reside further than 50 miles from facility location). Certification requirements will be confirmed upon application.

Qualifications: B.S. in Physical Therapy, NYS License or eligible, and 2 years of experience required. Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.
Duties include:
Evaluating plans and implementing programs in accordance with indicated procedures
Formulating specific goals for patient treatment by collaborating with other health care personnel and the patients
Preparing and maintaining notes and discharge records in a timely manner
Attending designated clinics, rounds, and conferences, and rendering patient information
Participating in educational programs for staff members, students, volunteers, and other professional health care personnel
Training new staff members
Serving as a clinical instructor for senior level students
Facilitating new program development
