Job description
Physical Therapist needed for a long term care facility located in Delhi, NY
Salary ranges from $75K to $95K
Responsibilities:
The Physical Therapist will be responsible for providing direct services to clients, and providing feedback to families and other team members.
Conducting assessments of clients and developing and following treatment plans.
Assessing home and school environments of clients and deciding what adjustments are needed.
Advising on adaptive equipment to help clients with daily activities.
Educating caregivers and family members of clients on patient care.
Evaluating results and progress of physical therapy on clients.
Maintaining professional knowledge and the technical progress in order to provide clients and families with the best treatment program available.
Qualifications:
Must have a valid New York Physical Therapist license
Must have graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy college or University
Must have experience in long term care
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership qualities
