Massapequa Center Rehabilitation & Nursing is committed to improving our patients' quality of life & autonomy through innovative rehabilitative services, and an exceptional level of client-centered care and attention. We are seeking an enthusiastic Physical Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team of skilled health care professionals at our skilled nursing facility in Amityville !
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide rehabilitation services and complete Evaluations/Screens.
Develop and improve the skills needed for the daily functioning of residents.
Accurately completes and documents all treatment procedures and functional mobility tasks in a timely manner.
Provide education on selected treatment procedures and functional activities to patients, their families, and other healthcare providers.
Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program
Hold licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York
