nPosition Summary:

nThe Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating, treating, and guiding patients through individualized rehabilitation programs designed to improve mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and support recovery from orthopedic injuries and procedures. This role works closely with physicians, clinical staff, and patients to develop and implement treatment plans that align with each patient's functional goals and overall plan of care.

nThe Physical Therapist provides hands-on patient care in an outpatient orthopedic setting while promoting a positive, professional, and patient-focused experience. This position plays an important role in helping patients safely return to daily activities, improve physical function, and achieve optimal recovery outcomes.

nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:

nnEvaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals, patient goals, and clinical findings.

nAdminister therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and rehabilitation modalities appropriate to the patient's condition and treatment plan.

nMonitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to support recovery and functional improvement.

nEducate patients on exercises, injury prevention, post-operative rehabilitation, and home exercise programs.

nMaintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) system.

nCommunicate effectively with physicians, clinical staff, patients, and family members regarding treatment plans and patient progress.

nMaintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment.

nEnsure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations, documentation standards, and safety requirements.

nSupport a positive, team-oriented, and patient-focused clinical environment.

nParticipate in continuing education and professional development activities as appropriate.

nPerform additional clinical duties as assigned.

n nRequired Qualifications:

nnA graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program is required.

nCurrent Pennsylvania Physical Therapist license required.

nPrevious outpatient orthopedic experience preferred.

nStrong understanding of anatomy, physiology, rehabilitation techniques, and medical terminology.

nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.

nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

nStrong critical thinking, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

nCompassionate and patient-focused approach to care.

n nLicense/Certification:

nnCurrent Pennsylvania Physical Therapist License required.
