nNatural Wonders Healthcare is an established 5-star-rated, multidisciplinary healthcare practice in West Covina providing acupuncture, chiropractic care, medical massage, and other integrative healthcare services. We are expanding our services to include Physical Therapy and are looking for a motivated, compassionate Physical Therapist to help us build this new service line.

nThis is an excellent opportunity for a PT who is looking for flexible part-time or per-diem work without the commitment of a full-time position.

nPosition

nPhysical Therapist – Part-Time / Per Diem

nStarting at up to 8-15 hours per week

nFlexible schedule

nOpportunity for additional hours as the PT program grows

nIdeal for someone looking for supplemental income or a flexible clinical schedule

n$45–$50 per hour. $45 per hour with $1 per hour raises every 6 months until we reach $50 per hour minimum. Depending on experience and qualifications.

nWhat You'll Do

nPerform physical therapy evaluations and establish individualized treatment plans

nProvide skilled physical therapy treatments for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions

nDevelop therapeutic exercise and home exercise programs

nOnly 2 patients per hour

nProvide manual therapy and other appropriate physical therapy interventions

nMonitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate

nComplete timely and accurate clinical documentation

nTreat patients with an emphasis on restoring function, reducing pain, and facilitating return to work and daily activities

nOur practice has a strong presence in workers' compensation and personal injury care, and we are developing our PT program to serve these patients as well as veterans and other patients referred for rehabilitation.

nQualifications

nRequired:

nCurrent, unrestricted California Physical Therapist license

nGraduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

nCurrent CPR/BLS certification

nCurrent NPI and ability to complete credentialing requirements

nStrong clinical and interpersonal skills

nProfessional, dependable, and compassionate approach to patient care

nPreferred:

nExperience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy

nWorkers' compensation experience

nExperience treating musculoskeletal and work-related injuries

nExperience with manual therapy and therapeutic exercise

nSpanish-speaking ability is a plus

nNew graduates with strong clinical training are welcome to apply.
