Physical Therapy AideACCESS PT, a member of the Confluent Health family, is currently looking for a Physical Therapy Aide to join our New Fairfield, CT team!How ACCESS PT supports you:401(k) Retirement Savings Plan - 100% match after 1 year (up to 4%)Paid sick leave (varies by state)Wellness Program Access10% childcare tuition discount at Kindercare Childcare CentersTraining and career developmentNetwork partnerships with top health systems in the regionResponsibilities:Prepare and sanitize treatment room for the patientsUnderstand the uses of stationary bikes, pulley systems, exercise/medicine balls, plyometric boxes, rebounder, weight equipment, mobilization tables and benches, progressive resistive exercises as designed by the Physical TherapistPrepare equipment such as hydrotherapy tanks, paraffin bath, and hot packsRemove and replace braces, splints, and slings from patient bodies before and after treatmentAssist physical therapy assistant and/or physical therapist to support patient during ambulation and gait training.Communicate effectively with patients/clients, the public and all members of the healthcare teamQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredPhysical Therapy Technicians/Aides Apply Today!EOESalary Description: $17.00/hour, based on experience
