Physical Therapy AssistantLocation: Paoli, Broomall, or Brinton Lake Organization: Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to ShoulderOverview Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. As two of the region's most respected providers of orthopedic and upper extremity care, we offer a collaborative, patient-focused environment that prioritizes clinical excellence, innovation, and ongoing professional development.Position Summary The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) is an integral member of the treatment team, responsible for executing treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This full-time role involves working Monday through Friday in an outpatient orthopedic setting.Key responsibilities:Establish and maintain effective communication with physicians, staff, and other departmentsExecute patient care plans in full compliance with state board recommendations and guidelinesRespond to patient questions and inquiries to resolve problems and maintain high patient standardsDocument treatments, patient progress, and other information in the medical record per state practice actIntegrate fully as a primary member of the treatment team for assigned caseloadsComply with department policies and procedures, including OSHA and infection control regulationsAssist with training Physical Therapy Technicians as neededMaintain patient confidentiality at all timesQualifications Education: Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program required Licenses & Certifications: Current state PTA certification required Experience: Minimum of one year experience in an outpatient Physical Therapy clinic or equivalent experience preferredCompensation & Benefits Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision plans 100% employer-paid life insurance 401(k) retirement plan with employer Safe Harbor contribution and additional discretionary profit sharing Benefits effective on your hire date (for full-time employees) Generous paid sick and vacation time 7 paid holidays annually Opportunities for growth and advancement Employee referral reward programAbout Premier Orthopaedics & Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Premier Orthopaedics and Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center (PHSC) are leading providers of comprehensive musculoskeletal care throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.
