We are committed to compassionate, patient-centered care and teamwork that supports positive outcomes for individuals and families in our community.As a Certified Physical Therapy Assistant, you'll work closely with licensed Physical Therapists and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality therapy services to patients from infancy through adulthood.What We OfferCompetitive hourly compensationComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance (benefits eligibility based on FTE status)Generous paid time off and extended illness benefitsRetirement contributions and flexible spending accountsSupportive, collaborative care environmentOpportunities for professional growth and skill developmentWhat You'll DoUnder the indirect supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the Certified Physical Therapy Assistant provides direct patient care and supports individualized treatment plans across inpatient and outpatient settings.Key responsibilities include:Provide direct physical therapy services to patients from infancy through adulthood following established plans of careApply principles of growth and development to deliver age-appropriate treatmentPerform prescribed therapeutic exercises, modalities, and functional activitiesUse clinical judgment to monitor patient response to treatment and identify when Physical Therapist consultation is neededCommunicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teamsDocument patient treatments and progress after each session in accordance with established standardsWhat You BringStrong clinical skills within the Physical Therapy Assistant scope of practiceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with Physical Therapists and interdisciplinary teamsCommitment to patient-centered, high-quality careStrong documentation and time-management skillsMinimum QualificationsGraduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant programActive Physical Therapy Assistant license issued by the Washington State Department of HealthCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationWork EnvironmentThis role is performed in inpatient and outpatient healthcare settings and involves frequent interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.Physical DemandsThe position requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and assisting patients with mobility activities.
