Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Outpatient ClinicLooking for a better work-life balance? Join the outpatient rehabilitation team at Northwest Specialty Hospital in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. This position offers a consistent Monday through Thursday schedule with no weekends or holidays, allowing you to focus on both your patients and your personal life.As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work closely with our physical therapists to provide individualized treatment and rehabilitation services in an outpatient setting. Our team is committed to delivering patient-centered care that helps individuals improve mobility, regain function, and achieve their recovery goals.This position serves a variety of patient populations and supports treatment plans developed in collaboration with physicians and licensed physical therapists.Primary responsibilities include:Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.Deliver therapeutic interventions according to patient goals, capabilities, and tolerance levels.Support pre-operative and post-operative spine rehabilitation protocols.Educate patients on proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and injury prevention strategies.Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and clinical team members to coordinate quality patient care.Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation during the workday.Participate in department meetings, professional development activities, and community outreach initiatives as assigned.Qualifications include:Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.Current Idaho PTA license or actively pursuing Idaho licensure.Current BLS certification.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.Understanding of and commitment to patient confidentiality standards.Why join Northwest Specialty Hospital?Monday through Thursday workweekNo weekendsNo holidaysConsistent daytime outpatient scheduleNorthwest Specialty Hospital is a physician-owned healthcare organization recognized as a regional leader in surgical and specialty care.
