nFlexStaff is seeking a PTA to join our client's team and work in state-of-the-art day hab facilities throughout Manhattan & Brooklyn, NY.

nResponsibilities:
nAs a Physical Therapy Assistant at CP Unlimited, you'll work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement tailored treatment plans focused on improving or maintaining functional abilities for individuals with developmental disabilities. Your responsibilities include assisting with exercises, applying therapeutic techniques, monitoring patient responses, and documenting progress-all while collaborating with healthcare professionals and supporting families.
nnnExecute treatment programs designed by supervising PTs, including exercises and adaptive equipment use

nnObserve and document patient responses, noting progress or concerns to share with the team
n
nnCommunicate effectively with therapists, physicians, and other team members to ensure coordinated care
n
nnMaintain accurate, detailed records of sessions, progress, and observations
n
nnProvide training and support to individuals receiving services, families, and direct care staff on exercises and equipment
n
nnParticipate in team meetings and ongoing professional development to enhance skills and stay current with best practices
n
n nQualifications:
nnnAssociate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting (required)
n
nnLicensed or license-eligible as a PTA in New York State
n
nnExperience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus, but entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
n
nnStrong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
