Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)We are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Home Health Team in Lee County. In this role, there is a real impact in the comfort of patients' homes. As part of our compassionate, high-performing care team, you will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team, educate patients and families on rehabilitation and injury prevention strategies, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve optimal outcomes. If you are looking for an opportunity to grow your career and make an impact on a supportive and team-focused environment, we would love to hear from you.What You'll DoProvide skilled therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.Implement treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, and assistive device training.Educate patients and families on techniques to improve functional skills and independence.Work collaboratively with Physical Therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and interventions.Adhere to strict infection control guidelines to protect both patients and healthcare workers.What We're Looking ForCurrent and valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Florida.Minimum of 6 months in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or rehab required.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to providing quality care.Reliable transportation to visit patients in their homes.About Millennium Physician GroupFormed in 2008 and headquartered in Fort Myers, Florida, with offices in Florida, North Carolina, Georgia, and Texas, Millennium Healthcare is the largest independent physician group in the state of Florida and one of the largest in the United States.At Millennium Physician Group, our employees are the foundation of our success.
