Physical Therapy AssistantCategory: Allied Health CalvertHealth Medical Center CMC Chor - PF North Shift: Full Time, Day Shift, Monday - Friday Salary Range: $19.00 - $28.32Job Summary:Responsible for providing direct patient care in acute care, sub-acute and/or outpatient settings. Efficiently deliver comprehensive physical therapy services to a diverse population in his/her practice setting(s). Completes all required documentation, assists in scheduling and attends interdisciplinary rounds/committee meetings as assigned.Education:Must possess a degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program.Registration/Certification/Licensure:Must possess a current license from the Maryland Board of Physical Therapy.Experience:Must demonstrate competence to provide physical rehabilitation services by reason of education, training and experience.Other Requirements:Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements. Required to lift and/or move more than 100 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with modified lifting device. Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions that drive an appropriate plan of care.
